Today is the last day to enter the eight "Dear Lucky Agent" contest on the Guide to Literary Agents Blog. The latest contest's niche is literary fiction, so if you are working on a novel that is considered literary this is your time (as it is mine) to enter!
I have never entered a Dear Lucky Agent contest before, but it could be a great opportunity - to have an agent review the first 10 pages of your work and provide valuable pointers could be very helpful.
All you need to do is send the first 200 words of our unpublished, full-length novel to
eighthagentcontest@gmail.com, along with your real name, contact information, and logline of your novel. To be eligible, you must also either mention the contest twice on your social media (like Twitter and Facebook) or, if you are like some of us and not overly social, mention it only once and add it to your blogroll. That should be easy enough - the GLA blog was one of the first ones I added when I set up this blog yesterday.
